Homeowner Information Meeting,

The Shores Condominium

There was a large turnout for this meeting put on by Fernbrook/Cityzen who are the builders for the Shores Condo in Bronte,Oakville.  The meeting was last Wed. (Mar 21,2012) at the Harbour Banquet and Conference Centre a short walk from the Shores. The session was very informative and representatives stayed after the meeting to address all additional questions and concerns. A summary of some of the interesting points that were presented follow:

Occupancy in the building will start on April 16 on the 3rd floor.
Approx 2 weeks before occupancy owners will be requested to come in to be introduced to their unit and the buildings amenities and to complete the Tarion Inspection form for their unit.
On-Site customer service will be provided from the ground floor fronting Bronte Rd Mon-Fri 8-6. The phone number there is 905-827-8656 . The on-site customer service is responsible for home introductions, in-suite issues and customer service.

On occupancy and after the lawyer has completed all necessary actions owners keys will be available from customer service during working hours.
The property management company is Simerra at 416-293-5900. Move ins or large deliveries should pre book the elevator with Simerra. Simerra will be on-site Mon,Wed,Thurs,Fri 9-5 and Tues 1-7
Hallways will be completed approx. 2 weeks after occupancy to reduce damage from moving.
Mail may be picked up at 1130 Speers from 9-3. You need photo id plus legal documentation with your new address to pick up mail. Note our address is 11 Bronte not 1 Bronte as originally thought.
Bell and Cogeco are providers of Cable ,telephone and internet services. Contact supplier.
Require  a copy of the completed and accepted enrollment form from Oakville Hydro to get keys to unit.
Concierge is operational 24/7 . They allow access for guests to park in visitors parking. They will also accept small parcels.
Each unit will receive 2 proximity buttons for building and amenities and 1 combination fob for each parking unit owned.
Each unit will have a Cybersuite Security System that alarms at the concierge and there are cameras in the garage and all entrances.
Visitors will only be allowed to park if the person they are visiting is home.
The window coverings backing must be white or off white.
Two domestic pets are allowed per unit.
There are 9 units left for sale at the Shores. A local sales office is set up and the units are on MLS so you may contact your realtor.

In summary with only a few weeks before occupancy starts it is going to be an exciting time over the next few months. Good Luck to all!
